AI manga translation tools, workflows, and scanlation resources
This site documents my journey as a hobbyist manga translator. I started translating raw manga manually five years ago and have watched AI tools transform the entire workflow. Here I share what I have learned about tools, techniques, and the art of bringing untranslated manga to English-speaking readers.
The traditional scanlation pipeline required a translator, a cleaner, a typesetter, and a proofreader. Four people working in sequence, often across different time zones, to produce a single translated chapter.
