A few words about who I am and why this place exists.
I have been translating manga as a hobby for about five years. It started when I found a raw manga series that I loved but had no English translation. Rather than wait and hope someone would pick it up, I decided to try translating it myself. That first attempt was rough, but the satisfaction of making a story accessible to people who could not read the original language was addictive.
Since then I have translated chapters across Japanese manga, Korean manhwa, and Chinese manhua. My Japanese is intermediate, my Korean is basic, and my Chinese is nonexistent, which is exactly why AI manga translators have been transformative for me. They let me work with languages I could not handle on my own.
Translation tips and tool reviews get lost on social media within hours. I wanted a permanent place where my notes could live and be useful to other scanlators. Neocities felt right because it is simple, permanent, and community-oriented.
